제목 An Efficient Growth of Ag and Cu Nanoparticles on Carbon Nanotubes
초록 A novel method for oriented and densely packed transition metal nanoparticles like Ag and Cu, which was functionalized on carbon nanotubes (m-CNT) side walls were synthesized. Positively charged metal ion from their salt solution was adsorbed on carboxylic acid functionalized CNT by electrostatic interaction. In large chemically active surface and stability at high temperatures carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been used as a support material for the dispersion and stabilization of metal nanoparticles (NPs). Subsequently, m-CNT was characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), EDX, XRD, XPS and Thermogravimetric analysis. These hybrid materials have found several applications in catalysis, nanoelectronics, optics, nanobiotechnology, etc.
