Evaluation of antifouling performance by surface properties |
초록 |
Antifouling (AF) is necessary due to unwanted growth and adhesion of marine organisms on surfaces submerged in the sea. So, the AF coating continuously resists biofouling threat posed by fouling organisms since utilized the sea. Herein, AF coatings were fabricated adhesive film which included hydroxyl-terminated Polydimethylsiloxane and iron oxide pigment. A fouling test was carried out using Escherichia coli as bacteria and Ntizschia sp. and Navicula annexa as microagae were used. These results show rough surface has a better antifouling performance by the mechanically anti-foul on the surface. |
