제목 Preparation of Thermally Curable Hard Coating by Sol-Gel Reaction
초록 The plastic sheets usually require improvement in properties such as surface hardness, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and transparency compared with the glass substrate. In this study, in order to improve the surface hardness of transparent plastic films, an organic-inorganic hybrid coating solution was synthesized by the sol-gel reaction. Thermally cured organic/inorganic hybrids showed both improved surface hardness and thermal resistance of hard coatings depending on the content of inorganic component. In addition, the effect of structural change of the coating material by various silica precursors on the surface properties of coating layer was investigated using ATR FT-IR, surface hardness characteristics, optical transmittance and thermal decomposition behavior.
