제목 Highly stable graphene surrounded by thiolated Pluronic to deliver doxorubicin in response to pH and glutathione
초록 Highly stable reduced graphene oxide (rGO) has been prepared using quaternized 2-chloro-3', 4’-dihydroxyacetophenone to poly(ethylene glycol)-g-poly(dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) [PEG-g-PDMA, QC-PEG]. rGO/QC-PEG shows excellent water dispersibility which is enhanced after applying redox responsive thiolated Pluronic. Reduction of GO was confirmed via UV-vis and XPS. Hydrophobic drug doxorubicin was loaded to rGO surface and more drugs loading was controlled after application of Plu-SH. A burst release of doxorubicin was achieved when Dox loaded matrix was present in a combined higher reductive and mildly acidic environment via breakdown of disulfide bonds and pH responsiveness of DOX respectively. MTT assay signs biocompatibility of the matrix. CLSM investigation shows high quenching activity of rGO but application of Plu-SH surrounding the rGO matrix could overcome this problem. The prepared matrix can be potential candidate in DDS.
