Recently, Carbon aerogel has been interested due to their high conductivity, stable pore structure and high specific surface area by 3-D network structure. We prepared the carbon aerogel by direct carbonization. the chemical activation was carried out with KOH as a reagent to carbon aerogel. The activated carbon aerogel was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), N2/77K adsorption analysis. The experimental results indicated that the chemical activation increased the specific surface area of carbon aerogel. |
