제목 UV-Curable Primers for Adhesive Bonding between Aluminium and Plastics
초록 UV-curable primers composed of vinyl terminated oligomers and VTMS(vinyltrimethoxysilane) were synthesized and used to improve the adhesion property between aluminium and plastic. A self-assembled monolayer film of VTMS was formed on aluminium substrate by sol-gel reaction. And the oligomers were cured with the vinyl groups of VTMS by UV radiation. The VTMS film served as a covalent bond linkage by sol-gel reaction between oligomer and alluminium substrate, which led to the increased adhesion property. And the oligomer was bonded to plastic because of the compatibility between oligomer and plastic since they carry similar structure. We studied the influence of the molecular weight between the crosslinks of oligomer, the type and molecular weight of polyol, and the content of VTMS on the adhesion property. It was found that the inerfacial adhesion between the plastic substrate and aluminium was improved with UV-curable primer having VTMS.
