제목 PolyEthyleneImine and TetraEthylenePentaAmine Encapsulated Zeolite X for CO2 adsorption
초록 The increasing atmospheric CO2 levels in turn contributing to global warming is one of the biggest problems in the world. Currently, Solid absorbent is the most common method for sequestration of CO2 instead of aquerous amine. Recently, Polyethyleneimine (PEI) and Tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA) modified mesoporous silica has shown eahanced activity as CO2 adsorbents because of the abundant nitrogen contents. In here we describe Polyethyleneimine and Tetraethylenepentamine encapsulated Zeolite X as solid absorbents for enhanced CO2 adsoption. The enhanced adsorption capacities are due to basicity due to N-moieties of PEI and TEPA and ion-quadrupole interactions of zeolite micropores with carbon dioxide.
