제목 | Application of plasma chemistry in environmental technology |
초록 | Low-temperature plasma generated by electric discharge can be used in chemical & environmental processes because it can initiate or facilitate chemical reactions at atmospheric pressure and room temperature. Most of researches were focused on the plasma characteristics by changing electrode configurations, and optimization of power sources to increase removal efficiency of air pollutants. Though characteristics of plasma are key features to initiate or facilitate chemical reactions, configuration of plasma-reactor and operation condition also govern process efficiency. In this study, plasma-chemical process associated with conventional VOCs removal process were proposed. VOCs removal efficiencies depending on operation conditions were investigated. |
