초임계수에 의한 중질유 업그레이딩, Heavy Oil Upgrading by Supercritical Water |
초록 |
Heavy oil, including heavy crude oil and heavy fraction of refinery streams, is one of the key components to meet stringent demands on the quantity and quality of petroleum-based products. Traditional approaches to convert heavy and sour oil into lighter and sweet one require the large consumption of hydrogen and energy while sacrificing certain portion of feedstock into low valued product. Supercritical water has been evaluated as a reaction medium for thermal upgrading of heavy oil. This presentation will introduce the recent accomplishment on the basic study and scaling-up research for supercritical water technology conducted by Saudi Aramco. |
