Application of molecular encapsulation containing α-lipoic acid to cosmetics |
| 초록 |
Alpha-lipoic acid (α-LA) is a lipid-soluble substance. It is yellowish powder and is unstable in light, air and heat, etc. Its solubility in water is very poor. The solubility of α-LA with the addition of modified 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) was investigated using the solubility method. A for formulation with HP-β-CD was stable to temperature and light and increases the dispersion value in water and the bioavailability. The complexes also reduced the unpleasant odor of α-LA. |
