Photocatalytic activity of Titanium Silicalite 1 (TS-1) in Ammoximation of Cyclohexanone |

Various Titanium-silicalite 1 (TS-1)catalysts having differentSi/Ti ratios were prepared using the hydrothermal method and used as photocatalysts for ammoximation of cyclohexanone in aqueous system under UV light irradiation. The crystal structure and morphology of catalyst and the extent of titanium incorporation into the zeolite framework were examined by XRD, FT-IR and SEM analysis. The influence of the various reaction parameters on cyclohexanone ammoximation over TS-1 catalyst was investigated. The photocatalytic activity of TS-1 catalyst for ammoximation of cyclohexanone was found to be dependent on the crystal size, titanium content and reaction time. |
