Unimolecular micelles constructed from the hyperbranched polymeric core have high application potential in many applications such as separation and delivery, due to their high stability and diverse functionalities. In this study, amphiphilic hyperbranched polymers with hydrophilic core and hydrophobic shell were prepared by A2+B3 polymerization of carboxylic acid-containing A2 monomers, followed by end-modification with dodecyl phenol and conjugation with an amino acid residue. Detailed synthesis and characterization of the polymers and their encapsulation behaviors will be presented. |
