Thermoplastic polyurethanes have the advantage of excellent processability, but have poor mechanical properties, which is a determined property by synthesis. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good molecular design, increase the molecular weight, or adjust the ratio of hard/soft segment, but there is a problem that synthesis level control is difficult and expensive. A hard/soft crosslinker having alkyne groups at both ends was introduced into polyurethanes through azide-alkyne click chemistry. The mechanical properties of post-cured polyurethanes according to the type and amount of crosslinker were studied. In addition, polyurethanes with controlled azide group content were synthesized, and the mechanical properties of post-cured polyurethanes according to the azide group content were studied. It is possible to improve the mechanical properties of polyurethane through post-curing and to prepare highly functional polyurethane through additional azide-alkyne click chemistry. |
