The effect of nonafluoro-t-butyl moiety on wetting properties of polymer films |
초록 |
Fluoroorganic compounds have been attracting tremendous attention from both academic and industrial field due to their special properties of fluorocarbon such as strong C−F bond and low surface energy. To exploit these characteristics, linear fluorocarbons with long chain have been extensively studied so far. However, the environmental regulations originated from their bioaccumulation issue are depicted as an obvious limitation utilizing them. In contrast, the fluorocompounds including nonafluoro-t-butyl moieties are not currently prohibited to use and they are expected to exert outstanding properties because of the effect of three –CF3 groups in a molecule. This presentation shows the strategy for creating elegant polymer surfaces by including nonafluoro-t-butyl moiety. |
