A process for converting a biomass material such as wegetable oils and animal fats is the most promising issue in recently. The derivatives produced via bio-technological manufacturing process created dicarboxylic acids (H2OC-(CH2)n-CO2H). In this study, porphyrin polymer was synthesized by the condensation reaction of amino-modified porphyrin and nonandioic acid (n = 7). A mixture of meso-Tetra (4-aminophenyl) Porphine), nonandioic acid with calcium chloride, triphenyl phospite, pyridine in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone was heated with stirring at 100℃ for 3 h under nitrogen stream. After cooling, the reaction mixture was poured into a large amount of methanol and next collected on a filter and dired at 100℃ under vacuum for 24 h. We discuss the photophysical properties of porphyrin polymer in solution. |
