제목 One-pot synthesis of micrometer-sized polymeric bead adsorbent for removal of rare metal ions using SPG membrane emulsification
초록 A variety of methods have been explored to remove heavy metal ions from waste water in industrial area. The common methods of removing heavy metals from waste water are ion exchange, chemical precipitation, reverse osmosis, biosorption, electrodialysis, adsorption, etc. Among these methods, adsorption is one of the most effective methods for elimination metal ions because of low cost and easy process. Herein, we attempted to synthesize three types copolymer – Poly (allylamine-co-methacrylic acid(MAA)), Poly (allylamine-co-(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate)(DMAEMA)), Poly (allylamime-co-N-isopropylacrylamide(NIPAM)) – functionalized having high adsorption capacity. Three types of copolymer functionalized with acrylate groups which have strong affinity to metal ions. We synthesized micro-sized polymeric hydrogel microbeads via SPG (Shirasu Porous Glass) membrane emulsification. And adsorption capacity of hydrogel microbeads is analyzed by ICP-OES.
