제목 A Multisystem Nanoparticle Based on Charge-Convertible Polymers for Cancer Therapy
초록 Nano-sized particles have been investigated as carriers for the delivery of hydrophobic drugs to tumor tissues by the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect. To improve efficiency of conventional drug delivery, we designed dual stimuli-sensitive multisystem nanoparticles based on branched poly(ethyleneimine). The biostable nanoparticles will respond to pH and reductive environment step by step. The pH-induced charge conversion behavior in response to mildly acidic pH enhanced cellular uptake of nanoparticles at tumor cells, followed by cleavage of disulfide cross-links and selective drug release at the reductive intracellular condition. Hence, charge-convertible multisystem nanoparticles offer the potential as a model for efficient intracellular delivery of hydrophobic anticancer drugs.
