제목 Stop band shift of photonic crystal coated polyaniline on the surface of the silica spheres
초록 Various amounts of N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]aniline (TMSPA) have been attached on the silica nanospheres. Most of the FTIR absorption peaks are identical except –OH absorption peak centered at 3225 cm-1. The –OH absorption peak shifted toward the 3450 cm-1 as the amount of TMSPA increased. After polymerization of the aniline moiety, the –OH absorption peak drastically reduced and the new sharp peaks appeared at 1398 cm-1 and 617 cm-1 representing C-N and C-S stretching vibrations, respectively. The unmodified silica spheres shows characteristic transmission attenuation through the structure centered at approximately 900 nm. The transmission attenuation effect reduced and shifted to the shorter wavelength for the structures fabricated with TMSPA-A, TMSPA-B and TMSPA–C. After polymerization of the aniline group with ammonium persulfate, the sphere solutions became brown, dark-brown color and black color for the TMSPA-A, TMSPA-B and TMSPA-C, respectively.
