Fabrication of TiO2 nanostructures based on block copolymer templates for applications |

With its unique characteristics in band position and surface properties, TiO2 has promising applications as a photocatalyst for decomposition of organic pollutants, as photoelectrochemical cells and sensors or as pigments and surface coatings due to its high refractive index. Its features and performance in device have been reported to be maximized by controlling its structure on the nanometer scale. Among several routes to control TiO2 nanostructure, the templating methods through block copolymer self-assembly have attracted much attention due to their simple process and the diversity of achievable nanostructures. In this work, the methods to fabricate TiO2 nanostructure based on the templates resulting from self-assembling behavior are investigated and resulting nanostructures are observed by using AFM and SEM. Especially, here, the potential of the TiO2 nanostructures for applications as triboelectric materials are evaluated. |
