For many years, the research for reflective structural color of photonic crystal has been divided into two categories, colloid particle and block copolymer self-assembly. Both approaches are based on selective reflective color implementation by self-assembly nanostructure control which is accompanied by solvent evaporation. This opened up a possibility for display fabrication only by the reflection of light. Among organic material based photonic crystal building block, block copolymer is getting the limelight due to simple fabrication and flexibility. 1D,2D,3D nanostructure can be obtained by phase separation phenomena which is caused by interaction between polymers, and it can become large-scaled using liquid system based process. In this research, 1D lamellar structure photonic crystal is presented and switching property is demonstrated by liquid electrolyte and voltage applying. |
