제목 Characterization of self-healing effect of automotive clearcoats containing different blocked isocyanate crosslinkers
초록 The comparative evaluation of self-healing properties with different crosslinking systems such as a blocked polyisocyanate based on 1, 6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), a blocked polyisocyanate based on isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), and silane modified blocked isocyanate (SMBI) via nano-scratch tests, accompanied with scratch images simultaneously visualized 3D images and scratch profiles using AFM, under various self-healing temperatures and time variation conditions from room temperature to 50 ◦C, 70 ◦C, and 90 ◦C separately for one and two hours. In addition, the basic properties of automotive clearcoats such as impact resistance, pencil hardness, solvent resistance, and chip resistance were measured and compared.
