제목 Global Sensitivity Analysis using Sobol’sMethod for Blue Hydrogen Production via CO2 Capture​
초록 Blue hydrogen production through steam methane reforming (SMR) integrated with CO2 capture has attracted immense attention as an alternative energy resource to fossil fuels. Membrane gas separation has been considered as an alternative to the problems of conventional separation method. The performance of membrane gas separation is affected by various process variables, permeability, and selectivity. In this study, a mathematical model is developed for membrane gas separation using hollow fibre membrane modules which can be used to analyze the amount and purity of H2 produced and the capture efficiency of CO2 for a wide range of various operating variables such as pressures and flowrates and further identify the significance of each process variable. Moreover, global sensitivity analysis is performed through the Sobol method to investigate the sensitivity of process performance, which can provide a guideline for the development of new membrane materials and module designs in the future.
