Morphology, Mechanical properties and Biodegradation of PLA/Starch Blend Improved Interfacial Adhesion by Reactive Extrusion |
초록 |
Polylactide (PLA) is one of the important biodegradable polymer which is now finding commercial applications single-use disposable items and is produce from non fossil renewable resources by fermentation of polysaccharide. To improve interfacial adhesion between polylactide (PLA) and starch initiator and maleic anhydride added during extrusion. Three different types of PLA/ starch blend ; simple blend of PLA/starch, reactive blending of PLA/starch with initiator, and in-situ maleated PLA/starch were prepared. Cryofracture surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). To observe properties change of PLA, PLA was extracted from blend and then characterized by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). In addition mechanical properties and biodegradability of blend was investigated. |
