Boroxole-Containing Hydrogels for Glucose-Sensing. |
초록 |
Hydrogels containing benzoboroxole as a glucose-sensing have been synthesized by using a closest-packing silica colloidal crystal as a template. After removal of a silica template, a periodically ordered interconnecting porous gels were obtained as an inverse opal. By using acrylate monomers containing benzoboroxole, the resulting hydrogel inverse-opal could recognize monosaccharides including glucose via reversible covalent bond formation between boroxole and pyranose-form monosaccharides under neutral pH conditions. And prorous hydrogels exhibit a rapid change in volume responding to boroxole-glucose binding. It can be used for colorimetric sensor responding to level of glucose in blood by using structurally colored gel. |
