The aim of this study was to prepare bovin serum albumin (BSA) loaded biodegradable membrane with a reduced initial burst in the in vitro release profile, by addition of new biodegradable polymer. Poly(ethylene glycol)/poly (L-Lactide) (PEG/PLA) multiblock copolymer with different PEG/PLA ratios was synthesized by ring-opening polymerization. Structure and physical properties of multiblock copolymer were determined by NMR, GPC, XRD, and DSC. The preparation of biodegradable porous film was based on precipitation immersion method. The morphology and pore size were viewed with SEM. The physical properties of biodegradable film were determined by contact angle, XRD, and UTM. The amount of BSA released and loaded was determined by the Lowry-Peterson procedure. |
