Water and organic solvent based systems were processed using uniaxial and coaxial electrospraying apparatuses. In the coaxial systems, Bovin Serum Albumin (BSA) and iron (Ⅱ/Ⅲ) oxide nanopowder were used as the materials for the inner nozzle. As the encapsulation materials for the outer nozzle, chitosan was used. A chitosan solution was emitted into coagulation liquids circulated in a T-type chamber by a fixed quantity metering pump. The effect of voltage, flow rate, dispersant, size of chamber, etc was examined to obtain the maximum efficiency of electrospraying. BSA-loaded chitosan particles were analyzed by the laser light scattering particle size analyzer, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and the BCA assay techniques. |
