Water and organic solvent based systems were processed using electrospraying. In the coaxial systems, Bovin Serum Albumin (BSA) and iron (Ⅱ/Ⅲ) oxide nanopowder were used as the materials for the inner nozzle, and chitosan solution was used as the encapsulation materials for the outer nozzle. The solutions were electrosprayed into coagulation liquids circulated in a T-type chamber by a fixed quantity metering pump. The effect of voltage, flow rate, dispersant, size of chamber were examined to obtain the maximum efficiency of electrospraying. Obtained particles were analyzed by the laser light scattering particle size analyzer, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. For investigating as-sprayed primary particles and their aggregation mechanism, polyacrylic acid was used as an outer material and polystyrene was used as an inner material. After electrospraying, the particles were dissolved in water and observed the changes in particle size and shapes. |
