Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) with a high light-trapping ability and a high interface surface is a key factor to enhance the solar efficiency. In this study, various ZnO nanostructures are designed on the bulk ZnO flat layer. Enhancement of power conversion of the solar cells made with the ZnO nanostructures may be achieved. The morphologyand solar efficiency of these materials is carefully analyzed by Air Mass 1.5 and Field Effect Scanning Electron Microscopy. This enhancement may indicate that the ZnO nanostructures are to provide the efficient light-trapping effect, the increased effective optical-path length, and larger interfacial surface in the solar cells. |
