제목 Crystallization Behavior of Ti45Cu40Ni7.5Zr4Sn2.5S1 bulk metallic glass composite
초록 The crystallization behavior of Ti45Cu40Ni7.5Zr4Sn2.5Si1 bulk metallic glass composite (BMGc) is investigated. The alloy rod with diameter of 2mm prepared by arc suction casting consists of metastable B2-TiCu phases and the amorphous matrix. Thermal properties of the alloy are investigated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The glass transition temperature (Tg), first crystallization temperature (Tx1), and second crystallization temperature (Tx2) are revealed at 678 K, 718 K and 783 K, respectively. In order to understand the detailed crystallization behavior of the present alloy, the annealing process is performed between Tx1 and Tx2. For the annealing to 783 K with heating rate of 0.33 K/s, partial nano-crystallization is occurred in the amorphous matrix, while the metastable B2-TiCu phase is not transformed. As isothermal annealed at 783 K for 60 min, two exothermic peaks of the DSC curve are clearly disappeared and the amorphous matrix is transformed to nano-crystalline through whole alloys. However, the metastable B2-TiCu phase is not transformed into tetragonal r-TiCu phase in Ti-Cu phase diagram, it is confirmed that the strain field with direction is formed into the B2 phase
