Cu (In,Ga)Se2 (CIGSe) compounds are effective light-absorbing materials in thin film solar cells. In this contribution, preliminary results of our green approach to synthesized CIGSe nanoparticles are briefly reported. The green character of this approach originates from the fact that neither toxic hydrazine nor ethylenediamine was involved. Instead, ethanol assisted by reductant acts as solvent and reaction medium and the process is facilitated by ultrasounding. The as-synthesized products were characterized by XRD, XPS, ICP-MS, UV-VIS, SEM, TEM. The results show that CuIn0.7Ga0.3Se2 nanoparticles obtained with typical tetragonal structure, sapherical shape, band gap energy value of around 1.3 eV. |
