LC GO have been announced as the highly-anticipated materials due to high thermal and electrical conductivity after thermal or chemical reduction process. Taking advantage of the high dispersion, LC GO can be easily fabricated into various forms such as fiber, film etc. Among them, GO LC fiber has been received great attention due to high expectations in terms of multifunctional performances. Compared with other materials such as CNT fiber, unfortunately, the mechanical property of GO LC fiber is relatively low. This is mainly because many voids were created when they are assembled into the fiber form inevitably. In this study, we used NFC as a filler to fill these voids as well as to increase the mechanical property of GO fiber. After that, we make a post-treated composite fiber in order to enhance interfacial bonding between two materials using EDA. The EDA treated GO/NFC composite fiber showed the enhanced mechanical property about 13.6 times higher than that of pristine GO fiber. |
