Hybrid organic-inorganic chiral perovskites are considered critical candidates as alternative active layers owing to their superior optoelectronic properties such as circulary polarized light (CPL) detection and effective light absorption. Chiral plasmonic effect is expected to dramatically enhance the chiroptical properties of perovskites via enhanced chiral near-field. In this work, we aim to develop unprecedented chiral perovskite photodetectors using the [(R, S)-MBA]2PbI4 perovskites combined with Au nanoparticles stabilized by cysteine ligands (L, D-cys AuNP). We show that the integration of cys-AuNP into the active layer improved CPL detection capabilities and light absorption due to the plasmonic effect. The established synergy between the two components may open the pathway to greatly improve the chiroptical device performance. |
