제목 Synthesis of novel melanin polymer by co-expression of MelC and CYP102G4 in E. coli.
초록 A melanin biopolymer could be biosynthesized from L-tyrosine by expressing tyrosinase. The enzyme catalyzes polymerization of melanin building blocks into melanin polymer. And indigo dye could be produced from amino acid L-tryptophan by biocatalysis of tryptophanase and CYP102G4 monooxygenase, which catalyzes hydroxylation of indole. Novel melanin polymer was biosynthesized by E. coli co-expressing MelC and CYP102G4. Electrical conductivity of the CYP-melanin was determined by cyclic voltammetry analysis and FT-IR and SEM analysis were attempted.
