제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Non-OPC Geopolymer Ceramic for Low CO2 Emission |
초록 | There has been much effort to reduce CO2 emissions globally following the emphasis on problems associated with global warming and its effect on the environment. Particularly in the field of construction, construction waste and industrial by-products are recycled and blast furnace slag and fly ash (FA) are partially substituted or mixed with ordinary Portland cement (OPC) to reduce CO2 emissions, replace the resources being depleted, and prevent environmental destruction. in this study, a non-OPC (NC) binder, which uses calcium sulfo aluminate (CSA) as a GGBFS activator instead of alkali activators, is applied to mortar for wall plastering and masonry. Moreover, NC mortar is compared with mortar using OPC (OC) as a binder based on the same W/B ratio in terms of compressive strength, a rate of change in length, and resistance to chloride penetration. In addition, the reduction ratio of CO2 emissions of NC mortar is examined. |
