제목 Preparationand characterization of pitch derived-carbon molecular sieves for hydrogenpurification​
초록 In this work, pitch-derivedcarbon molecular sieve (PCMS) for hydrogen purification were prepared byhigh-temperature pyrolysis of pitch precursor. The pore characteristics of PCMSwere controlled by carbonization, activation, and carbon deposition condition,and the effect of controlled pore characteristics on gas separation wasinvestigated. The textural properties of PCMS were determined using CO2/273Kadsorption isotherms. The single gas adsorption behavior of PCMS was analyzedusing BELSORP HP at various pressures between 1 and 10 bar. The breakthroughand PSA experiments were conducted in a multicolumn PSA unit. As a result, thespecific surface areas and total pore volumes of the PCMS was observed 250~450m2/g and 0.12~0.16 cm3/g, respectively. It was confirmedthat the correlation between the hydrogen purification and the porecharacteristics of the PCMS was determined by pore diameter (< 2 nm).
