Wearable sensors are important devices for non-invasive and real-time monitoring of human’s physiological signals to maintain the subject’s health status. However, when the subjects move (walking, jumping, jumping, and throwing) in our daily lives, the sensor is damaged to incidental scratches or mechanical fractures, causing problems in maintaining performance. Here, we report self-healing and wearable sweat sensors based on self-healing polymers and carbon thread electrodes. The self-healing sensors exhibited excellent sensing performances in terms of sensitivity, repeatability, durability, and selectivity. In particular, the electrochemical and mechanical performances of sensor were recovered within 30 s after the sensor is damaged. The on-body tests were performed to demonstrate real-time monitoring of ion signals in human sweats during indoor exercise. |
