Facile synthesis of novel graphene oxide sponge for toxic metals removal |
초록 |
Cadmium (Cd(II)) is one of the most toxic heavy metal ions due to its high toxicity, non-biodegradability and long half-life. Recent studies have indicated that graphene oxide (GO) proved to be a promising material to adsorb metal and relatively large specific area. Based on favorable adsorption properties of chitosan and inherent properties of GO some researchers have explored the possibility of chitosan-GO composite as adsorbents. Where the carboxyl group of GO chemically reacts with the amine group of chitosan (CS) with consequent formation of chemical bond between GO and biopolymer (chitosan). In this work, the aim was to explore and prepare graphene oxide sponge (GO-S) with higher adsorption capacity and excellent separation properties. Adsorption characteristics of GO-S under laboratory conditions. |
