Fabrication of CdS-In2O3 Heterostructured Nancomposites for Photcatalytic H2 Evolution Reaction |

In recent years, solar-driven H2 evolution from water splitting reaction on the surface of semiconductors has attracted a great attention. The fabrication of heterostructured photocatalysts is a effective strategy to enahnce the photocatalytic activity, which is superior to that of their single component photocatalysts. Herein, CdS-In2O3 heterostructured nancomposites were synthesized and tested towards the visible photocatlaytic H2 evolution activity. Characterization techniques related to strucutre, morphology and optical properties of the composite photocatalyst samples also carried out. Moreover, the mechanism for improved photocatalytic activity of CdS-In2O3 composite photocatalyst was proposed. |
