Current stem cell therapies have urgent issues to be solved for ensuring clinical grade of stem cell therapeutics. In this presentation, bio-inspired approaches for surface engineering of culture substrates and cell transplantation scaffolds will be introduced as our recent efforts for improving the efficacy and safety of current stem cell therapeutics. A series of our work reports that stem cell therapy can be engineered for enhanced self-renewal, guided differentiation, and cellular functions. |
