제목 Fabrication of Prussian blue-nested hydrogels for removal of radioactive Cs ion
초록 When cleavage of Uranium nucleus is occurred, many radioactive elements and a lot of energy are produced. Cesium-137 is one of cleavage product in nuclear fission of uranium, and it is known as more harmful radioactive isotope for environment than I-131 and St-90, because it has good solubility in water and long half-time in human body. For that reason, elimination of cesium radioisotopes has attracted plenty attention. In this study, we fabricated inverse high internal phase emulsion hydrogels (i-HIPE hydrogel) as structural substrate of Prussian blue for preparing Cs ion adsorbents. Cesium ion uptake behaviors of Prussian blue-nested i-HIPE hydrogel are proved by experiments in various conditions such as pH, temperature and concentration of reactants.
