An environmental chamber was used to characterise the emissions of total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) from pressed wood products. Measured emission factors are the experimental data used to represent emission characteristics of TVOC from testing materials under dynamic thermal extractor chamber test conditions. The sample gas was taken by Tenax-TA tube and the quantity of TVOCs emissions was measured by a Gerstel thermodesorption (TDS 2)/Mass Spectroscopy Detector (GC/MDS). |
