제목 Modeling and Simulation of Amine-based Carbon Capture Process
초록 A large amount of energies required to regenerate the solvent is the main issue for applying amine-based carbon capture process to the power plant. Therefore, finding an economically feasible system is essential for adopting the process. For this purpose, modeling and simulation of the process in the software are the effective and low-cost method for searching ways to reducing the cost of the process. Various levels of the model could be developed depending on the model assumptions. The general model for the amine-based chemical absorption process is developed. The various physical properties and process models are described in gPROMS platform. The simulations results from the developed model are compared with respect to different assumptions and validated with experimental data.
