Herein, we report cobalt-benzene dicarboxylic acid (BDC) based metal-organic frameworks (MOF) as additives for PVA-based gel-polymer electrolyte. The enhanced performance of electrolytes is verified by measuring increment in ionic conductivity due to decreasing in crystallinity of the gel-polymer. The Co-MOF was synthesized via hydrothermal reaction. Na2SO4 were selected for salt of electrolyte because of the weak stability of Co-MOF in acid or in alkaline media. Morphology and crystallinity of MOF and MOF added PVA-Na2SO4 electrolyte were characterized using FE-SEM, FT-IR, and XRD. The crystallinity of electrolytes prepared electrolytes were calculated using DSC method. The ionic conductivity and activation energy of electrolyte between the conventional electrolyte and Co-MOF added electrolyte was measured by using resistance measurements with blocking electrodes and temperature dependency of the ionic conductivity. Full EDLC cell performance was characterized by CV, GCD, and EIS. |
