Supercapacitors have significant attention due to its high power density, fast charging and discharging rates, and robust rate capability. In this study, the composite used water as an environmentally friendly solvent and the 2-methylimidazole was an inexpensive organic ligand. The nickel-cobalt based metal organic framework (Ni-Co-MOF) were directly grown on graphene oxide sheets (Ni-Co-MOF/GO) via one-pot solvothermal reaction and used as a hybrid supercapacitor electrode. The structure and morphology of the composite are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Electrochemical properties were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and charge-discharge (CD) in 6M KOH electrolyte. |
