제목 Semi-IPN membranes of poly(arylene ether sulfone)membranes fordirect methanol fuel cells
초록 The aim of this study is the development of blend membranes with co-continuous morphology characterized by the smaller hydrophilic domain size, which are composed of a hydrophilic component (highly sulfonated polymer) for a proton conductor and a hydrophobic component (non-sulfonated polymer) for a barrier to methanol transportation. Such a unique morphology design is expected to effectively suppress the methanol crossover since the fraction of free water phase becomes lowered by decreasing the hydrophilic domain size.
