In this research, we synthesized various mono-substitued derivatives of dieckol which has many phenolic OH groups. We obtained various mono-substituted derivatives of dieckol through optimizing reaction condition which react only one of many phenolic OH groups with compounds having good leaving group(halide, acid chloride, etc…). Monitoring was determined by TLC, and reaction mixture was purified and isolated by column chromatography. All products and structures are confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 2D-NMR(NOESY, HSQC, HMBC) and the other techniques. |
