Quantitative competitive analysis of major government funded research institutions and universities based on journal papers and patents : In the case of hydrogen energy technology |
초록 |
Government funded research institutes (GFRI) and researched oriented universities have been producing the continuous R&D outputs and outcomes from government and private R&D projects. R&D managers of government have been focusing on the productivity of GFRI for reaching world class institutions from quantitative and qualitative aspects. This research carries out the relative quantitative competitive analysis of GFRI and research oriented universities with the limit of qualitative data. We analyze the quantitative numbers of international journal and registered international patents as the competitiveness assessment since two criteria are key assessment factors of R&D projects. This research focuses on the relative competitiveness in the case of hydrogen energy technology from 2006 to 2011. |
