Perovskite is the next generation luminescent material that has been actively researched recently. Although it is cost-effective, compared to conventional silicon or OLED, it is vulnerable to moisture and easily denatured. In this work, perovskite nanoparticles are compounded with a hydrophobic polymer to increase moisture resistance and consequently to improve storage stability of the particles. To this end, microemulsions with uniform size were periodically generated via a microfluidic device and the emulsion droplets were directly photopolymerized inside the microchannel. The obtained perovskite-polymer composite particles were extremely resistant to moisture and maintained stable luminescence even when stored in water for a long time. |
