Scaffolds fabricated of various biomaterials mimic the structure of Extracellular Matrix (ECM). 3D printed scaffolds provide anessential space for cells to grow and differentiate. This study aimed to fabricate a hydrogel composite scaffold to culture bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells and to control cell growth and differentiation. To make a hydrogel, a mixed solution of gelatin and hyaluronic acid was first prepared, and then hydroxyapatite was added to the mixed solution at different concentrations. Scaffolds with different structures were fabricated using a 3D printer. It was confirmed that the composite scaffolds had an interconnected pore structure through SEM analysis. In addition, the composition, microstructure, and physical properties of the composite scaffold were confirmed through various analyses. Therefore, the developed 3D printing composite scaffolds can show great potential for bone tissue regeneration. |
