제목 Colloidal Pressure Sensors with Excellent Sensitivity Using Conductive Elastomer Microparticles
초록 This study introduces a novel colloidal pressure sensing platform with conductive elastomer microparticles. Monodisperse polyurethane (PU) microparticles were fabricated based on the microfluidic technique and consecutive photo-polymerization. The PU microparticles were coated with conductive materials such as PEDOT:PSS, silver nanowires, and CNTs, respectively. The conductive layers have different coating density by regulating the coating  formulations during the LbL deposition. We demonstrated that our conductive elastomer microparticles could efficiently transduce the pressure changes into electrochemical signals via the piezo-resistive effect in response to the variation of contact area. The colloidal pressure sensors showed remarkable pressure sensing performance in a broad range from 0.1 kPa to 200 kPa with excellent sensitivity from 10-8~10-2 A.
